Delivering and building robust and scalable core Java server systems.

We’re looking for someone like that to help us:

-Within the US execution area of Fixed Income IT developing and maintaining an in-house application that supports manual & automated trading, including DMA and algorithmic trading

-Develop front end using WinForms and the server side processes in java, focus will be predominately on server side development, most of the business flow and logic resides and feeds to the UI

-Capture, design and deliver functionality to the US front office working with other members of the team based in Stamford, Hong Kong, London and Poland

Your team   

You’ll be working in the Fixed Income IT development team. You will be joining our growing global team interfacing with the traders using our application suite.

You will be situated on the Trading Floor in our New York office, directly next to the traders you support in a high energy front-office environment.

Your experience and skills           

-Excellent core java development skills including commercial experience with java

–Experience working in a trading floor environment and have interfaced directly with the traders you support

-Experience with full project life-cycle, including capturing requirements, code-reviewing, unit testing and test driven development

-Experience with agile software development methodologies

-Advanced client server development techniques -prior experience of 2nd Line support and are methodical and quick when problem solving -willing to perform a support role

-Understanding of the concepts of distributed applications
