Prime Brokerage Funding & Fin Tech
Morgan Stanley Prime Brokerage serves a diverse array of needs for the global hedge fund industry and other clients that require financing. The PB business is a market leader, based on our industry leading technology, products and people. The Client STP Apps Technology team works very closely with the business to provide cutting-edge technology, expertise and products to the business.
The resource will work on the key deliverables for the Prime Brokerage business. The project falls under the sales and client service technology platform focused on delivering user interface tools to enable sales, capintro, consulting and stock lending desk at Morgan Stanley. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, building and integrating rich interactive applications using web technologies in a multi-tier environment. Strong Web development and Java experience are preferred. Responsibilities will include designing, developing, maintaining and supporting web applications and interaction with end users.
– 3+ years experience with Database Design/Stored Procedure/SQL development (any of these DB2 UDB, Oracle, Sybase etc.)
– 3+ years Linux/Unix/ksh/Perl experience.
– Strong OOP and Relational Modeling skills
– Strong collaboration and communication skills Experience working in geographically distributed teams in fast paced, agile development environment
– Good interpersonal skills are a must.
– Experience with HTML5/CCS3/TypeScript/JSON.
